Since ancient times, physicians repeatedly observed the positive health effects of using carbon dioxide springs (Natural Springs) and they called it CO2 Balneotherapy.

  • Balneotherapy using naturally occurring carbonated water is the most traditional of therapeutic methods and the most thoroughly studied technique in the field of applied balneotherapeutics. No natural remedies can make use of such a broad and diverse base of knowledge as carbon dioxide baths

CO2

Systematic and skilled balneotherapy utilizing carbonated water-which has been practiced for centuries- has in recent years become solidly grounded in the natural sciences, particularly with respect to its use in the treatment of cardiac and peripheral vascular disorders. "No natural remedies can make use of such a broad and diverse base of knowledge as carbon dioxide treatments." Although some of these early indications have become outdated and somewhat forgotten with the development of modern cardiology, combining modern age technology innovation with ancient knowledge started to reoxyginate the memory cells of enthusiastic investigators-producing highly effective CO2 balneotherapy-based technological solutions.

Before RespidermTM`s unique H2O/CO2 foggy vapor mixture based therapy existed, only naturally occurring carbon dioxide (Natural Springs) has been applied for CO2 Balneology treatments. Since Natural Springs has been restricted to specific geographic areas - and its effectiveness was not improoved by modern science and technology - it also restrained the widespread application of the CO2-enriched Balneological treatments.

Carbon dioxide enters the body through the skin the same way as during sitting in thermal water (Natural Spring Water). Carbon dioxide baths have positive effects especially on blood pressure; if high, the blood pressure is decreased; if low, it is increased. Upon CO2 entering, the blood vessels starts dialating and rapid oxyginated red blood cell Heamoglobin delivery starts to unhealthy tissues and organs -revitalizing every cell in the body. Carbon dioxide baths improve blood and lymph circulation and free the respiratory tract. They alleviate skin infections and hyper-pigmentation. They influence muscle, the lymphatic system - raising energy levels in cells and removing pollution-based toxicity from the cells. Absorbed carbon dioxide supports the activity of the breathing center of the brain. Dry carbon baths positively influence the human body in the same way - but even more effectively - as the wet carbon baths in Natural Springs or other artificial thermal water treatments.
